Stafford Offices to Close for Thanksgiving Holiday November 23 RELEASE DATE: 11/16/09 Stafford offices, departments and facilities will be closed for the Thanksgiving holiday beginning at noon on Wednesday, November 25, 2009, and will remain closed on Thursday, November 26 and Friday, November 27. The following offices and facilities will remain open: Fire and Rescue Information (540) 658-4440 Sheriff’s Office Information (540) 658-4400 Magistrate (540) 659-2968 The Regional Landfill and the Belman Road Recycling Center in Fredericksburg will be open all day on Wednesday, November 25. Both facilities will be closed on Thursday, November 26. The landfill and recycling center will be open for business during regular business hours (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) on Friday, November 27. The Circuit Court, Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court, and General District Court in Stafford County will close at noon on Wednesday, November 25, 2009, and will remain closed on Thursday, November 26 and Friday, November 27. <back to November 2009 notice index |
