children’s area will contain a nine-foot-tall acrylic structure shaped like a
sun that will serve as the center for the library’s children’s story hour
program.
Board of Supervisors Chairman
George Schwartz, Falmouth District,
will serve as the keynote speaker. Members of the Board of Supervisors and staff
from the Central Rappahannock Regional Library have been invited. The library
will be the latest addition to the Central Rappahannock Regional Library System.
Construction is scheduled to be completed in 2010.
Gregory S. Lukmire, the owner of
The Lukmire Partnership in Arlington, is the architect contractor for the
library. His firm also designed the Porter Library on Parkway Boulevard in north
