Our mission is to provide a link for and between human service agencies within the community in providing services to identified children and families within Stafford that is collaborative, child centered and family focused.

The Stafford County Human Services office staff will assist at-risk children and their families in providing services to: 

1. Increase collaboration among other community agencies to expand available community resources.
2. Build community teams to develop creative solutions in servicing at-risk children and families. 
3. Work with other County agencies to improve the processes when families are involved with several county agencies.   
4. Preserves and strengthens families.  
5. Provide services in the least restrictive settings. 
6. Continue to invest a percentage of the CSA budget into Prevention programs to provide services in the least restrictive environment.
