3rd Grade Tours: In a partnership with Stafford County Schools, the Office of Citizen & Volunteer Services provides each of Stafford County's 3rd grade classes this wonderful, fun, learning opportunity. The students will learn valuable information regarding their local government, history of Stafford County as well as participate in their very own "Board of Supervisors" meeting. These field trips usually take place in the early spring.
Student Government Day: A select number of Senior students from each Stafford County high school will have an opportunity to participate in this awesome, hands-on-program. For one day, students will be able to "shadow" County employees as well as County Officials in order to get a feel for what a real working day in Stafford County is like. These students will have the opportunity to see first hand what it takes to make Stafford County "The BEST local government in Virginia!" After the shadowing portion of the day, the students will enjoy a lunch with their fellow students and be invited to participate in the open session of the real Stafford County's Board of Supervisors Meeting.
