Adopted on 8/25/10

We are very happy to say Mama Kitty has been adopted! After being with us for 6 months a family from Caroline County fell in love with her and decided to give her a permanent home.

How To Adopt

Dogs and cats may be adopted from the Stafford County Animal Shelter located at 473 Eskimo Hill Road, 2 miles east of its intersection with Jefferson Davis Highway.

The shelter is open between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., Tuesday through Friday and 9:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.

There is a $20.00 adoption fee for dogs and a $10.00 adoption fee for cats.  All puppies and kittens adopted from the shelter are given the first series of shots and are dewormed for round worms only.

For information on adopting an animal from the Animal Shelter, call 540-658-7387.
