Important Deadlines:
April 15 - Federal income tax filing deadline  
May 1 - Virginia state income tax filing deadline

Checks or money orders should be made payable to the Treasurer of Stafford County.

To make a payment by credit card, please go to the Virginia Department of Taxation website http://www.tax.virginia.gov

The Virginia 760 return may also be filed online using the Department of Taxation's I-file system.
